Use word pictures to describe the ultimate result most desirable to the reader. It’s not just “working from home”, it’s “working from the comfort of your home”.

This is where you call out to the person reading your salesletter. You can either choose to use the words ‘Dear Friend’ as it will work for many markets. However for better impact it’s great to use a salutation that identifies your target market, for example, if you’re writing to women who want to find out if their husbands are cheating on them, use the salutation, ‘Dear Soon to be Divorced Woman’, or ‘Dear Worried Wife’. Virtually every good salesletter begins –in one form or another – with an introduction of a problem.
.You’re not getting enough traffic to your site.
.Your list isn’t big enough.
.You still haven’t dropped that last 10 kilograms.
.Your spouse wants a divorce.
.You can’t seem to manage your time.
. You’re not as good at tennis as you’d like to be.
. You’d like the flexibility of working from home.
.You could be happier if just one thing changed.
Serious or trivial, stated positively or negatively, real or imagined, problems are the universal driving force behind many – if not most – decisions we make. We want to avoid them, correct them, minimize them or make up for them, but make no mistake about it, they have great influence in our lives.
We’d be happier without problems, or so we think. We’d at least try to give it a try.
And, if we can’t completely eliminate our problems, it sure would be nice to have something really wonderful happening in our lives that would diminish or overshadow them. We all have things that we’d like to improve upon. Things we’d like to see changed to some degree. Things we’d like to make better.
So, one of the best ways you can begin your mini-salesletter is to establish the fact that there is a problem that needs to be addressed. Generally, by telling some kind of story that allows you to identify with the reader and the problem they face.
4. Solution
Now that you’ve established a problem, it’s time to share the solution – namely, what YOU have to offer in your “small report”!
Here’s where you let loose with the “unique sales proposition” we talked about earlier.
Without being arrogant or prideful, it’s time to talk about yourself: your experiences, your knowledge, your secret weapon, your special way of doing things.
Explain what you have to offer in your small report that will help the reader to solve the problem they are facing.
Tell a story to explain HOW you found out what you’ll be sharing in our special report.
Empathize with the reader – you’ve been where they were and look at how things have changed since you made your discovery of “what works”.
Point out what makes you different than the rest of those out there who might be offering similar products.
Refer to tips, strategies, practices, etc. that you reveal in your special report (without telling them exactly WHAT those items are, of course!)
Mention specific results you’ve achieved by using the information included in your special report.
And don’t just make claims, PROVE them, which brings us up to “part” 6, which is your “proof”…

Anyone can make claims about what they’ve done and what they know, but how many can prove it? And, when they prove it, how much more effective is their claim?
People, in general, are naturally skeptical. Especially those who’ve been around the block and have fallen for hype before. If you want to bridge the gap between their wallet and your order button, you’ve got to establish trust.
And the surest way to establish trust is to prove what you’re saying is true.
There are three simple things you can do to validate your claims by providing a form of evidence that I want to quickly point out…
a. PROVIDE a testimonial. It’s one thing when YOU say the information included in your special report works…it’s another thing entirely for someone else to proclaim that they’ve duplicated or exceeded your results by trying the information themselves. A testimonial from someone who’s read, used and seen results from your special report represents a voice of credibility speaking on your behalf. One or two testimonials should be sufficient for your special report mini-salesletter.
b. POINT to visual evidence. What diet program appears more legit than the one with a “before and after” photo of someone who’s lost weight? When you can provide screenshots, photographs or other “visual” evidence to substantiate your claims, it can go a long way to tear down the wall of reluctance that rests between you and your potential customer.
c. POSE a challenge. If possible, get the reader of your mini-salesletter to do something themselves to test your validity. When I was selling a course on “article writing”, I’d tell folks to go to Google.com and do a search for my name to PROVE I knew how to get write and distribute articles for profit online. It’s not always possible, but if it is, posing a challenge for the reader to do something to test you is a nice option.
When you’ve laid out your “proof”, it’s time to get specific about what’s included in your special report…

Before you decide on a price for your short report, bear in mind that your goal is to sell many reports very quickly, for a fair price. You shouldn’t be looking to charge =N=10,000 or some other monster price. Your price should be low enough to make it for the customer to buy, yet high enough for you to make a decent profit on it.
Here’s how to decide how much you should charge for your report(s):
a. Fix a price based on quality of content
One way to decide on how much your report should sell for is to judge the quality. Does it really contain information that very hard to find? If so, then you’re within your rights to charge a slightly high price.
b. Competitors’ inadequacies
Are there other people selling similar reports? If so, how much are they selling theirs for? How well and how wide do they advertise?
You need to get a feel of what your competitors (if you have any) are doing in the marketplace. This will help you decide on the best pricing strategy to use to beat them and corner the customers in the market.
If your competitors are charging a particular price, can you charge slightly lower (if there isn’t a way to really differentiate the quality of your report from theirs) to win over customers?
If your report contains far better information and is by far filled with more quantity than that of your competitors, should you charge slightly higher than they do and brag educate the customer why yours is a better choice?
See? You need to have a feel of what your competitors are doing if you have any.
c. Customer expectations
Customer expectations can also determine how much you should charge for your report.
If your customers know they’ll be getting an ebook, they’ll expect to pay less than they normally would if it was coming to them as a physical manual, since they have to still have to spend some money printing it out.
However, if they understand they’ll be receiving the report as a physical manual, then they know they’ll have to bear the cost of courier/shipping which will be included in the total sum.
Now having said all this, I’ll share with you some pricing strategies that have worked for me.

7 – 15 pages =N= 700 – =N=1,000
16 – 20 pages =N= 1,500 – =N=1,700
21-30 pages =N= 2,500
That’s it. These prices have worked great for me. They’ll work for you too.

Are there other people selling similar reports? If so, how much are they selling theirs for? How well and how wide do they advertise?
You need to get a feel of what your competitors (if you have any) are doing in the marketplace. This will help you decide on the best pricing strategy to use to beat them and corner the customers in the market.
If your competitors are charging a particular price, can you charge slightly lower (if there isn’t a way to really differentiate the quality of your report from theirs) to win over customers?
If your report contains far better information and is by far filled with more quantity than that of your competitors, should you charge slightly higher than they do and brag educate the customer why yours is a better choice?
See? You need to have a feel of what your competitors are doing if you have any.
c. Customer expectations
Customer expectations can also determine how much you should charge for your report.
If your customers know they’ll be getting an ebook, they’ll expect to pay less than they normally would if it was coming to them as a physical manual, since they have to still have to spend some money printing it out.

There’s nobody who cares about you. No guru cares about you. Yeah, they’ll fulfill their own part especially the real ones, not the pretenders, will do everything they promise to do for you because you’re a customer, but beyond that, you’re on your own.
If you want success to happen for you, YOU must take responsibility for it. Only you can make succeed. Don’t wait for anybody to do it for you. Don’t expect any guru to spoon-feed you. You MUST DECIDE to learn everything you need to learn to achieve success online. And I tell you it’s plenty.
Now, don’t be scared. It’s really easy. All it takes is a decision to say, ‘starting today, I’ll learn everything there is to learn about this business, so I can achieve success in it’.
A lot of new, aspiring or even knowledgeable internet marketers amuse me. They will blame a secondary school student for failing an exam because they didn’t study hard enough. Yet they fail online because, wait for it, they refused to study hard enough! That’s smells like hypocrisy to me.

It’s not their fault you’re failing online. Yes, I agree, most of them are arrogant and full of themselves, and many more pretender gurus are full of beans but seriously it’s not their fault you’ve not achieved success yet.
And stop asking any guru for that one magic solution to success online. There’s none! The next time someone asks me to tell him/her or the one secret we gurus are hiding and never want to reveal, I’ll ………………(okay just joking).
Seriously, though there’s nothing we’re hiding. So stop asking okay? It’s aggravating! If you don’t believe that, I’ll let you wallow in our ignorance.
The Cardinal Rule Of Success Online Is…
Do what the gurus do, not what they teach! They may teach you the wrong things but they will only do the right ones for themselves.
Here’s an example: A guru might go out there and learn how blogging works, he may or may not set-up one, hell he may or may not even earn money from blogging but he thoroughly learns how it works.
Then, he’ll do a DVD video teaching how it works, and next takes an advert advertising the DVD. 50,000, readers see his advert and maybe 1,000 are interested, and out of that number, 50 buy the DVD for =N=5,000. Each DVD costs him =N=2,000 to produce and send to the buyer meaning he’s left with =N=3,000.
Now multiply this by 50 buyers, a healthy profit of =N=150,000 and I’m telling you this won’t take him over 3-4 weeks to achieve. Don’t forget, there are still 950 people left who’re still interested in blogging, so he can continue to advertise the DVD each month and make =N=150,000. Over the next the 12 months the guru would have sold 600 DVDs (50 x 12) and made =N= 1,800,000. That’s one million, eight hundred thousand naira.
Now what about the folks who bought the DVD? At least 95% of them will fail. Here’s why:
The first month they get the DVD, they’re pretty excited. They build a blog, put articles and their Adsense codes on it, and then sit back waiting for their accounts to get filled up. Every minute they’re logging into that account, checking and seeing only pennies.
They then realize, ‘Oh my God, I won’t make money without traffic’. So they reluctantly try to generate some traffic and because they don’t want to do the work associated with generating traffic to their websites, by the second month, they quit and are looking for something new. If you’ve ever tried blogging and failed, I can guarantee this is exactly what happened to you. Come on don’t deny it.
By the way, if you thought there was an easy way to riches, forget it! Pal, seriously I believe you’re clever enough to know there isn’t one and it doesn’t matter how books you’ve read titled, ‘Easy Way To Riches’. There isn’t one. Period.
Here’s the lesson: The guru is running an information marketing business, one of the easiest and most lucrative businesses to get into.
The sensible thing for you to do is not do what the guru teaches (BLOGGING) but he does (INFORMATION MARKETING).
If blogging appeals to you, by all means go ahead, just be prepared for the work (and it’s a lot of work). I run several blogs myself, but I use them to help me sell my information products faster and easier

People just love the fact they’re learning new things and forget the reason they got into this business in the first place is to learn a method that will make them money on a steady basis. Now, what’s how can you build a steady stream of income if you’re running around chasing the latest trick. One week you’re blogging, the next you’re flipping websites, the next you’re selling information products, STOP IT!
Concentrate on one thing, and get good at it. Now isn’t it surprising the gurus you know are known for one major thing.
But of course we have a lot of other income streams. See, despite the fact we do a lot of stuff to make money, we are so very good at one of them. We didn’t start out being great at everything, we started out being great at one! That’s the way wise internet marketers do it.
Now does this mean I don’t buy information products? By all means I do? Almost every week, I buy one!

Google Adsense is one of the most widely known programs for publishers to make money around. Basically Google has Adwords where advertisers log in and bid on keywords to display their URL. How to Make Money with Adsense:
First you need to have a website before you can sign up for Adsense. So go sign up for a HostGator webhosting account, install Wordpress blogging software and get a website up and running, then sign up for an account here. It will take 2 – 3 days on average to get approved, but it may take a little longer on occasion.
After you get approved you can log in and start creating ads. As you create your ads, I highly suggest you create channels to keep track of your clicks for that individual ad. That way you can determine which units are performing best and adjust accordingly.

I’ve found that placing the ads within content are also the best performing as they are right near visitors eyes.
What colors should you use?
Again, based on personal testing I’ve found using a white background on my web sites and white background on the color of the ads works best. For the title of the ad / URL I use the same color that the headings / URL links are elsewhere on the website. Then I keep the text the same color. I’ve found that the better you blend the ad unit the better it performs, but again this can be different for everyone so test everything.
You can only make money with traffic

I’ ll like most things online it all comes down to traffic. You truly need to have traffic to earn money online.
