Money-Making
Web Page
In 30 Minutes Or Less



STEP 1
Compose your message. Use NOTEPAD for the composition.

STEP 2

Start your Microsoft FrontPage.

a. Go to FILE. It's at the top left corner of your Microsoft

FrontPage. Right below FILE, on another line, is a SQUARE BOX

with a white space. Click on that white space, and a new page

will open.

b. Once it opens, go back to FILE. Click on it and a table

will open with a list. Look through the list and you will see

SAVE AS. Click on it. A table will pop up, and you will see

SAVE IN with MY WEBS in front of it. You will also see an

arrow. Click on the arrow. Another list will drop down. First

on that list is DESKTOP. Click on it.

c. On the new window that appears, look toward the bottom

part of it and you will see PAGE TITLE and in fromnt of it

you will see CHANGE TITLE. Click on it. It will bring out

another winder with the title: SET PAGE TITLE. Highlight NEW

PAGE 1 that appears and type the name of your webpage. For

our purpose, we shall call it "demystify3"

d. Next, just below CHANGE TITLE, you will see another white

space with FILE NAME in front of it. Type INDEX in small

letters here. You have just save the webpage you're about to

design on your DESKTOP.

e. Next, go to the DESKTOP and look for INDEX. That is the

webpage you want to put your webcopy, the one you wrote in

NOTEPAD, on.

f. Next, right click on the DESKTOP [make sure it's not on

any particular item]. A window will appear. Look for "NEW" on

the list that comes up and click on it. Another window will

appear. Number one on that page is FOLDER. Click on it.

g. A new FOLDER will appear on the DESKTOP. Click the right

side of your mouse on it and from the list that shows up,

look for RENAME and click on it. Give the folder the name you

want.

h. Next cut the INDEX page on the desktop and open the folder

that you've just created and paste it in it.

i. Once you're sure it is there, go back to the Microsoft

FrontPage and continue your webpage design.

STEP 3

a. Go to FORMAT on the Microsoft FrontPage. FORMAT is the

fifth item on the same line you have FILE. Click on it.

b. Look for BACKGROUND on the list that drops down and click

on it

c. Look for COLORS. Under it, you will see BACKGROUND: [with

Automatic written in front of it and an arrow pointing down].

Click on the arrow and choose the background color that you

want.

d. Next you will see TEXT: right below BACKGROUND. Click the

arrow pointing down in front of it and choose the color you

want for your text. Make sure the color contrast with each

other. For example: BLCK background and WHITE text. If you

don't observe this instruction, the text may be swallowed by

the background.

e. Click OK when you're finished.

STEP 4:

Next, go to TABLE. You will locate it after FORMAT and TOOLS.

a. Click on it. And from the drop down list, click on INSERT.

Then on click on TABLE that the arrow in front of it points

to. A dialog box will appear.

b. Under SIZE choose number of rows you want to create. For

this purpose, we shall choose one. Then, choose number of

COLUMNS. Also choose one for the purpose of this website we

want to create.

c. Under LAYOUT,you will see ALIGHMENT. Click on the arrow in

front of it and it will drop a list down. In the list, you

will see: i: DEFAULT; ii: LEFT, iii: RIGHT, iv: CENTER to

determine whether you want the table you're creating to be at

the left, centre or right. For our purpose, we will choose

CENTER.

d. Next, you will choose how you want the border of your

webpage to appear. The higher the number you choose, the

thicker the border.

e. Next, you will specify the width of the webpage you're

creating. Look to the right side of the same dialog box

you're using and specify the width of the table. You could

either choose "IN PIXELS or "IN PERCENT" For our purpose, we

shall specify 80 and choose IN PERCENT.

f. Next, click on OK.

STEP 5:

Go back to the NOTEPAD where you composed the message that

will appear on your webpage. This, remember, is what I told

you we call WEB COPY or SALES LETTER.

a. You will copy the message from the NOTEPAD and paste it

inside the table that you created in your MICROSOFT

FRONTPAGE, the one you're constructing your webpage on.

b. Next, you need to make the headline of the copy to be

bigger and bolder than the rest of the text. So you will

highlight the headline, go to the buttons on top of the space

where you're designing the webpage.

There you will see, next to the right side of the name of

type faces [like Times New Roman], a button that says "5 (18

pt)". Choose the size of type size that you want. The higher

the number, the bigger the type size.

SIDE NOTE: To break a line of a sentence, go to INSERT, which

is just before FORMAT that you used earlier. When you click

on it, a table will drop down. And number one on the table is

BREAK. Click on it, and the sentence will break without

starting a new paragraph.

STEP 6:

Save your work.

STEP 7:

Fire up you FTP [File Transfer Protocol] software. Some of

this software can be downloaded FREE on the Internet. Your CD

will contain one that you can install quickly.

a. Once your FTP programme is opened, you will notice that it

is divided to two parts. The left part is showing your

DESKTOP while the right side is showing the SERVER [that is

the space that you rented from your WEB HOSTING LANDLORD -

remember him?].

b. To see DESKTOP contents, you will click on the arrow

pointing down on the compartment on the left side. It most

probably will be showing C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS [or

something like that]. When you click on the arrow, the first

item on the list it will reveal is DESKTOP. Click on it. It

will bring out every item on your DESKTOP.

c. Next, from the list under the DESKTOP, look for the name

of the folder you created earlier. Remember, we named it

DEMYSTIFY3. You will highlight it and point you mouse tip on

it and right click it.

d. It will show UPLOAD. You will click it to upload your

webpage to the server. But don't do so right away.

e. Move to the right side of the FTP programme. You will look

for WWW among the items listed there. That is where all

webpages that you want the public to see will be uploaded. So

click on it to open it.

f. Once it is opened, go back to the left side of the FTP

programme. Locate the folder you want to upload and right

click on it. It will show UPLOAD. Left click on it and wait.

When it has uploaded, it will give you a report that confirms

it.

Once it is uploaded, go and open a web browser and type your

URL [or web address]. In this case, it will be:

http://www.nameofyourwebsite/demystify3

For our training purpose, the URL will be:

http://www.sowealthlibrary.com/demystify3

Once any one who with Internet connecting anywhere in the world

types that web address into their browser, they will see your

webpage LIVE!
